The new logo of our department was unveiled on Dt. 23.09.2008 by the Hon'ble minister for communication and information technology in new delhi. The new corporate logo of our department is a red rectangular box with three wings with the words "Bharatiya Dak" and india post written on it. The new logo depicts speed, dynamism , elevation , action and aspiration.

The post office will continue to maximize the network by making the post office a one stop solution for communication,distribution and retail solution

The humble india post has been at the service of the nation for over 150 years now.it has helped in nation building and connecting the diverse regions and populace of the country. In retrospect the post office has helped in making india a unified entity. It has indeed come a long way from merely transmitting messages ,to providing a wide range of service for the socio economic betterment of the people.
